See FedWiki Training for a relatively simple introduction to using the FedWiki. Use the list there to keep track of your progress.
The FedWiki is not for everybody.
It is a Universal, Open Source, Personal, Public space for sharing anything digital. Potential for scaling democratic interaction. I think it is essential for the future of democracy, but that is me.
Everything written in the federated wiki is open and open source. This is not a tool for private business or people in government who need to hide things from competitors, customers, or the public. This is a tool specifically for civil society with the democratic intent.
It is work of love and dedication by Ward Cunningham and a bunch of his friends.

Please think of this exercise as an experiment in **See the Systems** and **ReLocalize Creativity**.
I believe that the FedWiki, well implemented, is the best and quickest way to support learners learning to learn.
This is my attempt to explain what the Federated Wiki is and how to use it.
.
**When to write in the Federated Wiki?** When you are collaborating with a group of people over a relatively long time period. The ability to select and participate in a virtual "neighborhood" is unique. **What is be big benefit of the Federated Wiki user interface?** I allows you to maintain the context as you like. The ability to flexibly arrange columnar pages is unique. If context is everything, the FedWiki is a way to manage context.
There are pages others have created as well. Please use them too. They are referenced on every Welcome Visitors page unless the site owner has removed the links. The reference page links are: * [ ] Federated Wiki * [ ] How to Wiki * [ ] About Federated Wiki * [ ] Field Guide to the Federation.
How To Wiki is the closest to what I have written and I will integrate that content into my pages as well.
